I am on a mission to empower people to feel confident and beautiful in their own skin. I believe that beauty comes from within and I strive to help anyone embrace their unique selves.
I am a SURVIVOR! 🙌 And my “why”? Me. For years, I put everyone else first—until September 14, 2022, when I got the life-changing news: Paget’s breast cancer. But plot twist, it wasn’t just that. In November, I found out I was also dealing with HER2 and Paget’s—talk about a double whammy. 😬
From March 2023 to March 2024, I endured chemo and Herceptin, and let me tell you, my muscles were so weak I struggled just to stand up. And the heat? It was like my body went into shutdown mode. Working out? Forget it. And forget the sun too—anytime I went out, blisters would pop up on my hands and arms like I was allergic to sunshine. 🌞
But here’s the real win: I’m finally getting back on track! Sure, I gained some weight from being still (okay, a lot of weight), but what I’ve learned is that self-care is NOT selfish. I had to put myself first, and it’s been a total game-changer.
I’m not trying to get back to the old me—that person is in the past. The future me? She’s stronger, healthier, and ready to take on the world. And my weight loss journey? It’s already helping me become that version of myself. Step by step, it’s working! 💪 #NewMeWhoDis #SurvivorStrong
